Self-contained group battery system for maximum failure safety
Several self-contained systems ensure straightforward installation and quick commissioning. ONLITE central LPS makes it possible to control and monitor every luminaire individually. Emergency lighting is integrated into the general lighting system and connection to the lighting management system is obtained via DALI. The group batteries can be networked using Ethernet in order to be able to control and monitor essential functions via a graphical user interface.

ONLITE central LPS and LED systems
Together, ONLITE central LPS and innovative LED emergency and escape sign luminaires make a great team. By using efficient LED luminaires with a light distribution that is perfectly matched to emergency lighting needs, the installed load is kept to a bare minimum. This means that required battery capacities can be smaller and supply systems can be significantly more compact. Communication between the ONLITE central LPS system and the LED luminaires is based on Powerline, which allows individual control and monitoring of every luminaire. Emergency lighting can be operated completely independently of the general lighting system.
EPS 360 - Monitoring, controlling and testing each group from a central location
The EPS 360 Controller is the core of every ONLITE central LPS system. Depending on the size of the system, several of these self-contained units are installed in order to ensure maximum possible redundancy and hence optimum safety. All settings and test logs are stored in a non-volatile memory. No data loss even in event of complete shutdown (mains and battery power).

Every DALI standard luminaire can be used as an emergency luminaire that can be individually controlled and monitored. No additional modules need to be fitted to achieve this, and the functionality of the general lighting system is completely preserved. This simplifies project planning, reduces both costs and effort and makes choosing luminaires easy. Delivery times for emergency luminaires are short because they are part of the standard product range.
DALI as a communication standard
ONLITE central CPS sets new standards in the monitoring and visualisation of emergency lighting systems. The complete installation is displayed on a 7-inch WVGA colour-touch PC in 16:9 format, backlit by LEDs. Touch and control: a maximum of three touches are required to have individual luminaire data and status displays available. All incidents are recorded on a built-in SD card, in the form of a test log book, and kept for at least three years. In addition, every ONLITE central CPS module can be visualised via Ethernet using a web-based browser without the need for any additional software. The system can therefore be remote-controlled from any PC.
