Installation  The CRAYON surface-mounted luminaire is the ideal solution in buildings with exposed concrete ceilings. Installation time is considerably shortened with simple mains connection via the 3-pole Wieland plug with Wieland socket (included in the scope of supply) and quick installation of the luminaire unit via a twist-and-lock mechanism for ceiling fixing. Just apply the decorative ring and the job is done.

Installation  Simple mains connection and through-wiring allow easy installation. The spring catch mechanism on the chassis ensures that the luminaire can be easily and safely mounted into the ceiling. Then simply apply the decorative ring to complete the process.

CRAYON Q375 | Size: 375 x 375 mm

Installation  CRAYON Q cannot fail to impress by the way it is recessed into the ceiling without the use of any tools. The luminaire mounting frame is quickly and safely fastened in the ceiling with four mounting springs. The Wieland plug and socket (included in the scope of supply) guarantee simple mains connection of the LED module. Installation is completed by fitting the LED module and clicking in the reflector unit. If desired, the downlight can be dimmed in the range 5-100% with an analogue/DALI converter (gear box to be ordered separately) with a ready-for-connection 2-pole Wieland plug.

CRAYON | The economically efficient alternative
The CRAYON LED downlight system sets standards with regard to the resource-efficient handling of energy. Thanks to a new generation of LEDs, the downlights in the CRAYON family achieve the same levels as 50 W halogen lamps or 2/32 W compact fluorescent lamps. CRAYON is suitable for many applications and provides pleasant general lighting in public areas, administration buildings, hotels, wellness areas, shops, department stores and malls.

For the best LED lighting quality available on the market
In addition to luminous efficacy, the quality of colour rendering is of significant importance for people’s individual sense of well-being. With a colour rendering index of Ra 94 (CRAYON E165/A195) and Ra 92 (CRAYON Q375), both downlights offer the best available quality of LED light on the market. Colours within the room appear brilliant and luminous, and even skin tones are rendered naturally. Depending on the type of ambience desired, two colour temperatures are available: 2700 and 3500 K.

50,000 hours of colour stability
The colour temperature of LED luminaires usually changes during the course of their life cycle. But not with CRAYON: Supplementary red LEDs are automatically added via an integrated, sensor-controlled system ensuring colour-stable light with outstanding quality over the luminaire’s entire service life.

Maintenance
With a service life of 50,000 hours, the CRAYON downlight system can be described as being maintenance-free.

Dimmable
The CRAYON E165 and A195 models can be continuously dimmed using standard commercial dimmers for low-voltage halogen and incandescent lamps. The square CRAYON downlight is dimmable via an analogue/DALI converter from 5-100%.
