ERI – Escape Route Illumination
The ERI spot is an energy-efficient LED spot which is combined with a patented lens. This lens bundles the light from 0.5 W to form incredibly powerful lighting cones which rotate easily to adapt to any building situation. Specially developed for the PURESIGN 150 and the CROSSIGN 110 and 160 luminaires, this lens also guides the light for optimum illumination of the escape route. Therefore escape sign and emergency luminaires become one product.

LED string
With just 3 W power uptake, the pictogram
is illuminated with perfect uniformity at an
average luminance level of 200 cd/m2
(500 cd/m2 for the white range), thanks
to special fibreoptic technologies.

Light guide panel
Thanks to the new optimised laser texture
used for the PURESIGN 150 light guide
panel, perfectly uniform illumination is
ensured, while the luminaire‘s energy
efficiency is increased.

LED spot
With a connected load of just 0.5 W,
the spot illuminates up to 6.5 metres
of escape route. Aligned in opposite
directions, they illuminate distances
of up to 13 metres.

ERI lens
The snap-in fitting method means
that the lens can be securely attached
to the luminaire and manually
adjusted in 90° increments.

The peak of LED technology

The transparent acrylic glass is now even more light-weight, while the high-quality aluminium attachment enhances the unobtrusive design. Aesthetic and functional aspects are met by the gently curving wedge design. At luminance levels of more than 500 cd/m2, the COMSIGN 150 achieves a high level of uniformity and a far higher luminance level than required. Combined with the qualities of an innovative LED luminaire – extra-long service life at constant light output – this escape sign luminaire boasts a special talent for low operating costs.

Lighting technology An energy-efficient LED string boasting a special light guide panel promises lighting innovation. An optimised laser texture increases the luminaire’s energy efficiency, ensuring perfectly uniform luminance levels.

Luminance When it comes to lighting technology, Zumtobel adheres to German standards. All escape sign luminaires comply with the required uniformity level of 0.2 as specified by DIN 4844-1 and an average luminance level of 200 cd/m2 or 500 cd/m2 for the white range. Thus, the luminaires exceed the EN 1838 values required in Europe by far.

Wall-mounting
No-tool installation of escape sign luminaires brings safety and appealing design into any building: wiring is performed via standard installation terminals. The PURESIGN 150 pictogram simply snaps onto the luminaire housing.
