SOLAR II boasts an aesthetic design that is surprisingly unconventional for a spotlight system. Its buoyant, flowing line, its organic form gives it an expressive elegance that is peerless in sculptural, streamlined appearance. Expressive, striking, full of character, and eye-catching – SOLAR II is just as impressive in a neutral ambience, self-assuredly generating atmosphere and mood. This predestines the spotlight system – available in three sizes – for applications where uniqueness and attracting attention are the key motives: in shops, shopping centres, showrooms and galleries, and also in semi-professional and private areas where the emphasis is on exclusive design and creative lighting.
New generation State-of-the-art, high-quality technical lighting features and the latest lamp technology based on electronic control gear make SOLAR II an innovative and versatile lighting tool. Four newly developed reflectors with different radiation angles are available for all three design sizes and all lamp types (superspot 5°, spot 10°, flood 25°, wideflood 40), their superlative lighting characteristics ensuring efficiency levels of between 75 and 80 percent. The optics have been designed as interchangeable reflectors, which can easily be replaced without using tools, so that each spotlight can be rapidly re-fitted in no time at all for changing lighting tasks. "My objective with SOLAR II was to create an impressive luminaire, where the aesthetics quite deliberately dispense with rigidity and anonymity. The design of SOLAR II is expressive and striking but at the same time soft and fluent in line, so that the spotlight almost seems weightless. It has been made for applications where luminaires are not meant to be hidden, but are intended to convey beauty, character and emotion.“ |
