It is primarily this special effect of light which makes 2LIGHT stand out clearly from conventional downlight systems. The harmonised proportion of direct and diffuse light ensures a soft, pleasantly bright, in fact almost daylight kind of lighting. The secret lies in the innovative functional principle of so-called reflector splitting; here, superlative reflector technology creates uniform distribution of light in the interior space.

At the same time, the tension deliberately generated between direct and diffuse, mellow light becomes palpable in the ambience, evoking moods and creating decorative accents. In this way the luminaire itself becomes a subtly expressive luminous object – and not only through its corona of light –, but never steals the show from the whole impression.
