Gone are the times when a luminaire's function was already fixed at the time of purchase and could only be changed at great expense and effort. Zumtobel decouples functionality from hardware and transforms the luminaire into a multifunctional tool that adapts to changing requirements. Switching or dimming? Standard or emergency luminaire? As of now, the answer is: On Demand.

Dimming On Demand luminaires have been designed for a wide range of functions: all options are possible, whether DALI luminaires with power-efficient switching or luminaires dimmable on the basis of daylight. The intelligent LUXMATE LITENET flexis control system is needed to make full use of all the DOD luminaire functions. Whichever function is required at the time can be achieved there and then with a software upgrade. "On Demand" is the basis for a permanently flexible lighting management system.
