Many luminaires that are now part of Zumtobel’s standard product range were considered highly special at the time of their creation. They were developed to make new design ideas come to light, to create new concepts with light using innovative technology, or to rise above existing limitations using unique applications, often in close collaboration with architects, designers and lighting designers and as a specific order for an equally special project.

Zumtobel turns the ingeniousness of its customers and partners into individual lighting solutions. The product range includes the EMPEDOS biorhythm wallwasher or the handrail- and staircase lighting LEDrail designed by the famous architect Zaha Hadid as well as the dynamic and colourful CIELOS luminous ceiling.
