Instead of displaying a luminaire unit, the new light line focuses on providing an outstanding lighting effect. Tetris technology and the overlapping arrangement of T16 light sources, and a separate white-painted sheet steel reflector provide pleasantly uniform light distribution, barely interrupted by any shadows. The precision-machined diffuser compensates any linear fluctuations due to temperature and prevents any dark spots along the light line. The result: pure light, all the way down the line.
Light that goes round the corner
SLOTLIGHT II knows how to take light round the corner, its illuminated L-connectors opening up new scope for creative design. Room geometries can be made clear more effectively, room zones can be redefined, and corner areas can be brought into sharper focus using light. The 90° angle modules are not merely connectors; they blend in as an integral part of the luminaire, their consistent, virtually end-to-end illumination being just as perfect as the dead straight light lines.
SLOTLIGHT II light lines can even cope with the special conditions encountered in sheltered outdoor areas - their IP 54 protection guarantees protection against splashing water and dust. This improves the strength and service life of the luminaire and also makes it possible to provide continuity between lighting for indoor and lighting for outdoor areas.
From entrance area to executive’s office
The new SLOTLIGHT II is also perfect for use in offices. Even its standard optic provides a light output ratio well above 50%. Fitted with a Luminance Reducing Optic (LRO), it can even be used above office workstations. This enables SLOTLIGHT II to produce perfect lighting conditions without annoying reflections on screens. Light lines can be arranged freely anywhere in the room regardless of the position of the workstation.
