Corridors, passageways, staircases, wellness and outdoor areas: in areas such as these, HELISSA accentuates the spatial effect and creates an agreeable impression. Its shatterproof diffuser made of UV-resistant polycarbonate (IP 40), or frosted glass in the IP 65 version, provides uniform, glare-free illumination. Where a slightly more atmospheric mood is called for, indirect light on the walls or ceiling from a coloured corona creates a pleasant atmosphere.

Helissa is available in two designs (round and square) and two sizes (diameter/side length 360 and 450 mm) that are in proportion to rooms of any size and provide just the right amount of light. With its textured diffuser, the new wall and ceiling-mounted luminaire boasts an excellent light output ratio and allows the use of fluorescent or compact fluorescent lamps to achieve outstanding energy efficiency. Operation requires electronic ballasts exclusively. HELISSA can also be integrated into existing lighting management systems via DALI or LUXMATE control signals. Optional emergency lighting units are further proof that HELISSA can be used to perform all important lighting tasks in passageways and functional areas straightforwardly.

Installation and maintenance can be completed simply and quickly in case of both versions. The one-piece diffuser releases without the use of any tool thanks to its twist-and-lock mechanism, allowing fast, uncomplicated relamping and easy cleaning.
