The lighting control system follows the principle of a jigsaw puzzle: various components are added to a basic module according to requirements. The basic module offers numerous practical functions such as dimming, central ON/OFF switching and one lighting scene. Various components can be added to this central module to extend functionality according to the user’s wishes.  These include a presence detector, an infrared remote control unit, a light sensor, a CIRCLE control point or a scene module for calling up lighting scenes.

The fact that both DSI and DALI components can be optionally connected is a particularly great advantage. Every output channel has been designed to accommodate DSI or DALI modules. A special benefit: the installation is ready for operation immediately after installation. No complicated commissioning procedure is required, and predefined lighting scenes are available on demand. All luminaires can be switched on and off from a central location. DIMLITE generates both DSI and DALI lighting control signals, and - using appropriate control gear - can control all types of incandescent and fluorescent lamps (T26, T16, TC-L, TC-DEL and TC-TEL) as well as LEDs. Moreover, all input modules are integrated automatically. This means that DIMLITE appropriately assigns all sensors and control gear right from the start. The polarity-free control lines which can be wired using standard NYM material are another plus.

DIMLITE provides numerous possibilities to reduce energy consumption by up to 60% while increasing the quality and flexibility of the lighting. Additional potential savings can be achieved by using presence detectors or multi-functional sensors, increasing the user’s convenience at the same time. A DIMLITE lighting control system operates at zero power, which means that switched-off luminaires are separated from the mains, consuming zero energy for stand-by operation. Expansion of the system is also possible at different points in time, so that the installation can be adjusted to changing user requirements at any time.

DIMLITE is particularly suitable for use in offices, conference and training rooms, corridors and other areas where dynamic lighting solutions need to be implemented involving minimum installation effort. In addition, the lighting control system is an extremely convenient way to save energy.
