Harmonised in terms of design, the luminaire and channel are mutually independent units. The fact that the system channel is available in two versions – for either horizontal or vertical installation – makes PURELINE extremely flexible to use, opening up interesting possibilities of extension. In addition, there is the special lighting effect created by PURELINE, which can be adapted optimally to each specific room situation: providing maximum illuminance for doctor’s visits, cosy reading light, or gentle night lighting to help patients find their bearings during the night. Thanks to separate control of the indirect and direct components, the right lighting is always provided.

PURELINE perfectly represents the interplay of light and colour. Via two additional light sources with specially selected colour filters, which can be fitted optionally, room atmospheres can be created which resemble the changing colours of natural daylight conditions: from a fresh sky blue at the beginning of the day to the strong orange of a sunset. In order to create a calming effect, to address the senses in a positive way, and to create a comfortable atmosphere, permanently supporting the patients’ feeling of well-being and thereby stimulating their recuperation.
PURELINE thereby offers for the first time ever the possibility of using clear, pure light and colour in patients’ rooms for the sake of the patients’ well-being, yet without impairing the necessary functionality of the lighting system for doctors’ examinations and medical treatments.
