Only the interplay of different lighting components provides a balanced lighting solution matched to the user's requirements. All day, people communicate intensively with their environment. Dynamic lighting scenarios adjust the lighting to people's visual processes as well as their biological, circadian rhythm.
At the same time, an intelligently controlled lighting concept has a positive impact on the energy balance.
With its biodynamic light direction, the "Motivation Cycle" concept developed by Zumtobel supports people's natural circadian rhythm, taking into account fundamental quality criteria such as health, well-being and performance.
Lighting management
The biodynamic script
From the first sunbeam to the last ray of sunset, natural sunlight is in perpetual motion. This dynamism is re-enacted in a lighting solution that sets the Motivation Cycle script rolling into action. A yellow line on the touch panel defines the intensity of direct light, the blue line symbolises indirect light. Lighting scenarios are rendered as vertical lines and areas according to timelines; the current point in time is marked by the red line. The graphics illustrating the lighting sequence couldn't be clearer - and an individual change of the cycle is just as simple. Simply link timeline input and lighting scene together - the EMOTION touch panel does the rest - for example the graphic adaptation of the script.
(1) 7.30 a.m. - Simulating the course of the sun A large component of direct light in the morning is analogous to sunrise in the open countryside.
(2) 11.30 a.m. - Relating to daylight A large component of neutral-white indirect light suggests the sun approaching its apex and relates the user to the world outside.
(3) 3.30 p.m. - Dodging the downtimes Intervals of increased lighting intensity perk up the user's attention curve. Brightening up the walls with cool-white light is an ideal activation booster.
(4) 7 p.m. - Imparting a feeling of warmth and well-being Warm-white scalloping effects on the wall impart a feeling of warmth and evoke eventide and sunset.
