tunableWhite - Facilitate production and improve quality

Light colour and intensity are adapted to the materials of the goods and products being produced, thus supporting the perception process in quality control. Based on the latest scientific findings, the light colours and intensities of the artificial light follow those of daylight or the time of day. The biological effects of tunableWhite have a supportive effect during night work in particular. Fatigue, errors and accidents are counteracted. The quality of sleep after a shift improves.

IWL Landsberg - Workshops for people with disabilities

In the 2,500 m2 IWL production site for people with disabilities in Landsberg, daylight has been combined with artificial light, always taking into account the current state of knowledge on the non-visible effects of light. To achieve maximum daylight, not only has the roof design been checked, but also the geometry of the interior space, and reflective surfaces were optimised in part. The transparency of the coated roof glazing was increased by 40% through the use of roof trusses. Melanopic effectiveness was also increased by 14% by selecting glazing with a higher degree of light transmission in the 490 nm spectrum. The luminaires used are melanopically effective thanks to the high blue share. At set times of day, the lighting is also changed according to the latest research findings.[BD1] This guarantees the biological effect and supports the user's biorhythm.
