Through our non-discriminatory pay processes we are confident we have equal pay within Zumtobel Group; equal pay ensures men and women are paid equally for work of equal value. However our recent Gender Pay Gap report highlights that we do currently have a gender pay gap.
Whilst analysing this we have identified that there are two main reasons for the gender pay gap:
We have fewer women in senior leadership positions
We have fewer women working in sales and technical roles which would place them in the higher levels of pay within the company
We are committed to improving our gender balance going forward, and as such a project team has been established to identify ways to do this and address the underrepresentation of women within the industry. We look forward to seeing the fruition of these improvements in the near future.
