Due to the latest building measures, for instance in the areas of air-conditioning, lighting or room design, environmentally certified buildings have been verified to have a positive impact on their users and therefore also on the company. Surveys have revealed that the employees' performance and motivation increase whereas absence to due illness decreases. In addition to a highly energy-efficient combination of luminaires and lighting management, Zumtobel also provides hands-on support for obtaining certification. The environmental product declaration (EPD) required for that purpose is available for an ever-growing number of Zumtobel products.

2 Using daylight

Large glass façades are an effective tool to allow as much daylight as possible to enter the building. In this context, blinds and thermal insulation become important issues for planners and designers. Nowadays, almost every building is fitted with a control system, and in the case of refurbishments, too, advanced luminaire and lighting control technologies are used increasingly. 
People and daylight
 
Natural daylight and its dynamic changes are essential to make us feel good. Perfect lighting takes varying room situations and people's needs into account. This induces ongoing adjustment to people's individual vision, the visual tasks and duties they have to perform, as well as changes according to the weather, season and time of day. 
Light is the elixir of life
 
Directional sunlight and the sky's diffuse light combine to create dynamic lighting scenes; even the colours of light are based on the 24-hour cycle. Variable light colours and illuminance levels influence the production of hormones. This in turn stabilises people's circadian wake-sleep rhythms, enhancing stimulation, making them feel at ease and enhancing their sense of time.

If incident light is captured centrally on the roof of a building or on the actual window frontage, lighting control systems work more accurately and involve less effort than constant-light sensors. Depending on the position of the luminaire, the lighting control system adds sufficient artificial lighting to achieve the desired lighting level.

3 Changing colour temperatures

People's inner clocks are stabilised by predefined time lines which create the right light colour and lighting level suitable for any time of day. Subtle changes in white tones suffice to provide stimulation or relaxation. Nowadays, design concepts take the biological effect of light on people's inner clocks more strongly into account. The basis of biologically effective lighting concepts is the effective use of daylight – if daylight is not available, intelligently controlled artificial lighting takes over its functions to the greatest possible extent.

Zhodnotenie firemných budov

V strojárenskej hale firmy Ferag AG sa budú vyhotovovať, prepájať káblami a skúšať dopravné a spracovateľské systémy pre priemysel tlačových médií. Ešte pred niekoľkými mesiacmi sa tu používalo zastarané osvetlenie: Nedostatočné svetlo, častý výpadok žiaroviek a zdĺhavá údržba opakovane prekážali pracovnému procesu a boli dôvodom vyšších nákladov.

Hlavným argumentom za obnovenie osvetlenia bolo prianie vytvorenia optimálnych svetelných pomerov. Pri starých svietidlách už nebolo možné hájiť ani obstarávacie náklady a náklady na údržbu, rovnako ako spotrebu energie. Nové riešenie teraz zodpovedá princípu podniku spočívajúceho v starostlivom využívaní prírodných zdrojov a záväzku trvalosti.

Východiskovým bodom plánovania svetla boli rôzne pracovné oblasti haly a prianie integrácie denného svetla. V najprednejšej časti stoja CNC stroje s obrazovkami, inde sú inštalované mechanické časti zariadenia. Svetelný pás TECTON pristupuje pomocou rôznych optík k rozličným vizuálnym úlohám. Množstvo denného svetla meniaceho sa v priebehu dňa vyrovnáva prístroj na riadenie svetla DIMLITE. Look Out senzory so zorným smerom k sklenému priečeliu zaznamenávajú množstvo prirodzeného svetla. Ak nie je vo vstupnej oblasti dosiahnutý definovaný jas denným svetlom, potom sa svietidlá stlmia (zotmia) na vhodnú úroveň. Tým sa zvýši svetelný komfort a minimalizuje spotreba energie: Renovácia osvetlenia sa amortizuje za niečo vyše dvoch rokov.

Technika má pomáhať a nie byť príťažou

Ak pochádza stavebník z technických vedných odborov, dizajnérka interiérov má v obľube provokácie a hotelier je skúseným praktikom – potom vznikne hotel, ako je Belvoir. Hotel, ktorý kopíruje tvar blízko ležiaceho ľadovca a spája ho tak s úžasným výhľadom na Zürišské jazero.

Tejto skúške bolo vystavené aj riadenie svetla. Stavebník a budúci hotelier sa počas fázy plánovania striedavo vžívali do rôznych rolí: Do roly hosťa, s cieľom otestovať používateľskú spokojnosť alebo do roly prevádzkovateľa, ktorého zaujímajú nízke prevádzkové náklady, šetrenie energiou a jednoduchá údržba.

ZBOX je jedným z uzavretých systémov, ktorý preberá riadenie vždy za aktuálnu hotelovú izbu a reaguje flexibilne na priania zmien. Pomocou multifunkčných tlačidiel CIRCLE je hosťovi ihneď jasné, ako ovládanie funguje. Stlačením tlačidla si nastaví dopredu naprogramovanú náladu svetla. Horizontálne záclony sa riadia centrálne cez meraciu hlavicu denného svetla, je možné ich však vyťahovať a sťahovať aj manuálne. Ak nie je izba obsadená, automaticky stiahnuté žalúzie zabraňujú jej otepľovaniu. Vložením kódovej karty (key-card) ich možno automaticky otvoriť, pričom sa aktivuje nálada svetla na uvítanie („Welcome“). Pre reštauráciu boli naprogramované ranná, poludňajšia a večerná nálada, ktorých jas sa veľmi jednoducho prispôsobuje vďaka otáčavému pohybu ovládacej roviny CIRIA, podobnej iPodu. Systémy riadenia osvetlenia, systémy núdzového osvetlenia a bezpečnostného osvetlenia idú ruka v ruke. Čím menej rozhraní, tým ľahšie a rýchlejšie možno systém prevádzkovať.

Príjemná výkonnosť

Aby získal slogan „Severné more. Alternatíva.“ nový vietor do plachiet, bola úplne od základu sanovaná reštaurácia v Kasseli. Spolu s vnútorným vybavením bolo kompletne renovované aj osvetlenie.

Celá reštaurácia bola prerobená na LED, v priestore pre hostí teraz nasledujú teploty farieb prirodzený vzor z prírody. Uvedenie riadenia osvetlenia do prevádzky prebehlo servisnou firmou Zumtobel Service, ktorá zoznámila pracovníkov s inovatívnym konceptom osvetlenia a ovládaním.

Ráno začína z hľadiska techniky osvetlenia jednoduchým otočením centrálneho kľúčového spínača. Ihneď je k dispozícii správne svetlo na prípravy s vysokou intenzitou osvetlenia. Pre hosťa začína deň teplotou farieb podobnou farbám vychádzajúceho slnka. Cez poludnie sa reštaurácia zahalí do vyžarujúcej bielej denného svetla. Večer sa slnko norí opäť do mora pomocou riadenia svetla EMOTION: Načervenavé farebné tóny pozývajú hosťa, aby si užil pokoj po jedle. Občerstvujúce impulzy nedotknuté denným svetlom dodávajú vstavané LED svietidlá a LED fabióny. V produkčných oblastiach sa nemení farba svetla, ale úroveň jasu všeobecného osvetlenia, a to s cieľom prispôsobiť svetelnú situáciu aktuálnym činnostiam. Prednosti LED, ku ktorým okrem iného patrí nízke vyžarovanie teploty a s tým spojené nízke náklady na chladenie pre potraviny, kombinuje riadenie svetla LUXMATE EMOTION teda s najvyššou pohostinnosťou. Takisto samozrejmý je komfort ovládania vďaka riadeniu EMOTION. Pri večernom vypnutí kľúčového spínača sa reštaurácia ponorí do správnej červene pod názvom Corporate Design.

Budúcnosť začína dnes

Pracovisko budúcnosti v hlavnom sídle hannoverskej spoločnosti Hannoverschen Lebensversicherung AG sa už stalo realitou. Maximálne efektívna budova s trojitým zasklením a vysoko tesniacimi fasádnymi prvkami pokrýva výrazne zníženú spotrebu energie zo zemných sond, tepelných čerpadiel a diaľkového kúrenia.

Zákazník si prial vysokoefektívnu kancelársku budovu s maximom flexibility tak, aby bola čo najlepšie pripravená do budúcna na očakávaný veľký počet zmien priestorových dispozícií. Hľadala sa firma, ktorá by sa externe starala o riadenie osvetlenia, prevzala riadenie príslušenstva (Facility Management) a vykonávala údržbu.

Všetky svietidlá a žalúzie v trojčlennom komplexe budov sú riadené cez systém riadenia osvetlenia LITENET založený na protokole TCP/IP. Všetky nastavenia, ako aj zmeny v systéme je možné vykonávať z centrálneho miesta. Na tento účel bol systém integrovaný do vizualizácie OPC rozmiestenej po celej budove. Jednotlivo adresované svietidlá DALI umožňujú pružné reagovanie na zmeny.

Dostupné denné svetlo je evidované cez meraciu hlavicu denného svetla. Naberané lamelové záclony s funkciou riadenia svetla sledujú postavenie slnka a na jeho základe menia svoju polohu. Úroveň stmievania potrebná na konštantnú úroveň osvetlenia každého jednotlivého svietidla je vždy nanovo prepočítaná a nastavená v minútových časových intervaloch. Dodatočne integrované hlásiče prítomnosti v prevádzkových hodinách svietidiel zodpovedajú prítomnosti pracovníkov. Tí majú možnosť prispôsobiť náladu svetla zodpovedajúcim spôsobom svojim osobným potrebám cez bezdrôtový rádiový spínač – úplne nezávisle od akéhokoľvek zapojenia v budove.
