Efficiency and design

The MPO+ microprismatic optic and perforated lateral reflectors make the luminaire sparkle like crystal. ECOOS has a brilliant look which, thanks to its lighting effects and its appearance, enhances both workspaces and communication areas alike. Excellent light output ratios and a large direct component make ECOOS one of the most efficient indirect/direct luminaires available on the market. It delivers light which fulfils specific tasks in every respect. Direct, indirect and lateral light components ensure efficient task area lighting and also allow vertical illuminance levels. These improve visual comfort and concentration while bright ceilings and walls create a pleasant room atmosphere.

A unique combination of direct, indirect and lateral light components improves visual comfort thanks to uniform room illumination and perfect contrast rendition. MPO+ technology extends this flexibility by mitigating the effects of glare from the light source so that the luminaire can even be positioned directly above workstations. With its sealed construction, the ECOOS luminaire is resistant to soiling and therefore designed to allow longer maintenance cycles.

As an individual luminaire, ECOOS is suitable for both surface mounting and attachment using cord suspension. On both versions, fine adjustment is made easier by a handy suspension device which compensates tolerances. This means the luminaire can be installed perfectly in just a few simple manual operations – even as a suspended continuous-row system. Connectors are available for installing these visually lightweight, apparently free-floating lighting objects – the connectors join the luminaires together securely by their front sides. The shape and colour of the connectors become part of the luminaire and preserve a visually consistent appearance. One luminaire after the other. Pendant suspension points are located directly above the joint and therefore smooth out the uncluttered look of the ECOOS continuous-row system. (Continuous-row system only available as pendant version.)
