The LINARIA Seamless individual luminaire guarantees unrestricted enjoyment of light from one luminaire end to the other. The light length is the same as the luminaire length – light is even emitted at the face ends. This has been made possible by the Seamless (T16-D) light source developed by Osram. The fluorescent lamp seems to fit in the luminaire housing without a lampholder, as the light source is recessed within the luminaire by means of the "lampholder lift" developed by Zumtobel.

Seamless light line

When conventional T16 fluorescent lamps are butted together, the resulting light line is interrupted by the lampholders which can create distracting shadows. With LINARIA Seamless, continuous light lines with almost uniform brightness are created: luminaire to luminaire, in single-length or two-length versions. When butted together, only a 4 mm gap remains between the individual luminaire modules and this gap is hardly detectable. The result: continuous light lines for a linear appearance with the same wattages.

T16

LINARIA T16, too, is just three centimetres wide, and is available as a single-length luminaire with almost all T16 wattages. It is available as a pendant version or as a wall and ceiling-mounted luminaire. It's interesting to note that in the smallest of the DALI compatible T16 batten luminaires, the ballast is integrated upright within the luminaire housing of LINARIA T16, thus making its extremely slender design possible.

Lampholder lift (patent pending) The lampholder lift (patent pending) which was developed by Zumtobel, neatly sinks the light source into the luminaire, making the lampholder invisible. A fascinating visual feature: it looks as if the unobtrusive, elegant luminaire does not have any technical components. Easy mounting of the light sources, made possible by the lampholder lift, is another impressive feature.

Cable duct The cable duct at the rear facilitates power supply. Where the ceiling or wall has irregularities, rubber buffers can be fitted to the fixing locations in the cable duct.
