The floating base
  • The world’s first continuous-row lighting system to have an 11-pole current conducting section built into the trunking
  • All functions such as power supply, lighting control or connection to the emergency lighting system are completely integrated
  • The luminaires can be positioned flexibly, and the system can be adjusted to structural changes at any time
  • TECTON trunking as the functional basis, only the various luminaire elements, light sources or optics are replaced or added, if required

Efficiency combined with outstanding lighting quality

  • Split-lens technology
  • Consistent continuous-row system, without any visual interruption or different reflectors
  • LED system is 100% compatible with the entire TECTON product range – even T16 and T26 luminaires already in place can be replaced with a new continuous-row LED system easily and without any tools
  • Luminaire efficiency of up to 148 lumens per watt
  • Colour rendering index of Ra 80
  • Service life: after 50,000 hours of operation, as much as 90 percent of the initial luminous flux are still available
  • IP50 for LED and optic as standard

The new standard at the installation site: 2 m continuous-row luminaires

  • Up to 40 % shorter installation times
  • 25 % fewer individual luminaires
  • Less individual packaging and fewer parts at the installation site
  • Luminous intensity levels of up to 10,500 lm
  • Lightweight and perfectly fit to be mounted
    by one person
Example of a 24 m continuous-row system

Split lenses for homogeneous light emitting panels

Split-lens technology
  • The split lens directs the light from the centre to the lateral areas
  • The lighting pressure in the middle is reduced accordingly
  • The luminaire causes less glare without any negative effects on the light distribution curve
  • All known beam patterns can be implemented
  • The position of the LED is visible, but in contrast to conventional lenses, the light emitting panel is extended to the entire width
  • Thus clear gain in uniformity
The Wide Beam optic is equally suitable for decorative and technical tasks. Its medium wide-angle light distribution is perfectly suitable for lighting shelf surfaces and corridors. Areas where there is no shelving, such as production areas, for instance, are also illuminated uniformly.
Developed especially for use in industry and engineering, the Narrow Beam optic ensures uniform, efficient lighting of vertical shelf fronts. With a maximum mounting height of approx. 18 metres, rooms with medium and high ceilings are illuminated perfectly.
The Shelf Beam optic presents itself at its best in presentation and retail areas. Its symmetrical light distribution focuses on shelf surfaces; corridor areas are illuminated with less intensity. That way, people's attention is directed more strongly towards the goods on display.
Wallwasher: the asymmetrical beam pattern has been developed especially for presentation and retail areas with shelves set up at one side of the room. An unobtrusive reflector, which can be easily clicked into place without the use of any tools, selectively sets the goods displayed centre stage.

Express assembly of individual reflectors

Example: TECTON LED CG reflector
  • Reflector CG (Controlled Glare) reduces glare to UGR index < 19
  • Meets the requirements with respect to standard-compliant glare control for applications such as supermarket checkout areas
  • Assembly via add-on clip
Add-on clip
  • Mounting clip provides plenty of design scope
  • Reflectors designed according to the customer's needs will change the lighting effect and the geometry of a TECTON LED luminaire – to create an individual stylistic idiom
  • Advantage on site: owing to the add-on clip, extra attachments can be mounted quickly and comfortably

Microprismatic optic

  • With minimised glare through LED point reflexion of the task area, and when directly looking into the luminaire, the 1.5m long TECTON batten luminaire with MPO optic handles demanding visual tasks with increased requirements, e.g. at workstations for precision assembly, in laboratories, schools, supermarket check-out areas or offices
  • MPO optic provides for uniform light distribution, without the LEDs appearing as irritating individual light points
  • A gentle brightening of the ceiling and the lateral translucent optic make for a wide beam pattern with soft edges
  • LED lumen packages: 5500 lm, 6500 lm and 8000 lm
  • Colour temperature: 4000 K
  • Colour rendering: Ra 80
  • Also available with Tridonic industrial control gear
  • Design TECTON MPO LED Zumtobel

Luminaire elements

  • The fully assembled MIREL evolution and ECOOS LED luminaires can now also be mounted on TECTON trunking
  • Trunking and luminaires are perfectly prepared for integration of emergency lighting and lighting management
  • For TECTON, the new luminaires open up new applications such as offices, meeting rooms or classrooms
  • MIREL evolution and ECOOS LED meet maximum requirements with respect to design, energy efficiency and visual comfort with maximum glare control
  • The CRAFT, LINCOR or PERLUCEmodels suitable for installation on TECTON trunking can be assembled particularly quickly and allow for easy electrical installation
  • Only one trunking unit is sufficient for secure fixing and the connection to the power supply and lighting control system
  • Luminaires already installed can be easily moved; additional luminaires can easily be clicked into place at the required position
  • Additional products for emergency lighting can also be integrated into the TECTON trunking
  • By allowing integration of Zumtobel's VIVO, LIVIANO and IYON spotlight ranges, impressive lighting accents can be created
  • The lighting requirements for shops and retail spaces can be mastered with high efficiency: ranging from uniform illumination to impressive accent lighting using high-precision reflectors.
  • Installation is considerably facilitated by CLIX and plug-and-play mechanisms
Decorative luminaires

Saves time and money

  • A comparison of eight different continuous-row LED systems regarding the time required for installation of a continuous-row LED system (15 m) conducted by independent Refaconsult GmbH showed that TECTON LED can be installed considerably faster than comparable products.
  • Up to 55 percent of time is saved in comparison to continuous-row LED systems of competitors
  • More than 61 percent of time is saved on average with a TECTON LED solution, compared to conventional T16 solutions
  • TECTON already integrates emergency lighting circuits and
    DALI control lines
General conditions for test set-up:
Mounting height 3.5 m, length of continuous-row system 15 m, ceiling height 3.7 m, height
of continuous-row system 3.2 m; 2 persons with ladders. The time indicated is for mounting excluding unpacking and excl. assembly of suspension systems (approx. 30 min).
