Due to the latest building measures, for instance in the areas of air-conditioning, lighting or room design, environmentally certified buildings have been verified to have a positive impact on their users and therefore also on the company. Surveys have revealed that the employees' performance and motivation increase whereas absence to due illness decreases. In addition to a highly energy-efficient combination of luminaires and lighting management, Zumtobel also provides hands-on support for obtaining certification. The environmental product declaration (EPD) required for that purpose is available for an ever-growing number of Zumtobel products.

Large glass façades are an effective tool to allow as much daylight as possible to enter the building. In this context, blinds and thermal insulation become important issues for planners and designers. Nowadays, almost every building is fitted with a control system, and in the case of refurbishments, too, advanced luminaire and lighting control technologies are used increasingly. 
People and daylight
 
Natural daylight and its dynamic changes are essential to make us feel good. Perfect lighting takes varying room situations and people's needs into account. This induces ongoing adjustment to people's individual vision, the visual tasks and duties they have to perform, as well as changes according to the weather, season and time of day. 
Light is the elixir of life
 
Directional sunlight and the sky's diffuse light combine to create dynamic lighting scenes; even the colours of light are based on the 24-hour cycle. Variable light colours and illuminance levels influence the production of hormones. This in turn stabilises people's circadian wake-sleep rhythms, enhancing stimulation, making them feel at ease and enhancing their sense of time.

If incident light is captured centrally on the roof of a building or on the actual window frontage, lighting control systems work more accurately and involve less effort than constant-light sensors. Depending on the position of the luminaire, the lighting control system adds sufficient artificial lighting to achieve the desired lighting level.

3 Changing colour temperatures

People's inner clocks are stabilised by predefined time lines which create the right light colour and lighting level suitable for any time of day. Subtle changes in white tones suffice to provide stimulation or relaxation. Nowadays, design concepts take the biological effect of light on people's inner clocks more strongly into account. The basis of biologically effective lighting concepts is the effective use of daylight – if daylight is not available, intelligently controlled artificial lighting takes over its functions to the greatest possible extent.

Povečanje vrednosti stavbe podjetja

V proizvodni dvorani podjetja Ferag AG se izdelujejo, priključujejo in preverjajo transportni in obdelovalni sistemi za industrijo tiskanih medijev. Še pred nekaj meseci se je uporabljala zastarela razsvetljava: Nezadostna osvetlitev, pogosti izpadi svetil ter zamudni postopki vzdrževanja so pogosto motili potek dela in povzročali visoke stroške.

Prednostni argument za prenovo razsvetljave je bila želja po optimalnih svetlobnih razmerah. Pri starih svetilkah niso bili več sprejemljivi tudi stroški nabave in vzdrževanja ter energijska poraba. Nova rešitev zdaj ustreza osnovnemu načelu podjetja za varčno ravnanje z viri in obvezi za trajnostni razvoj.

Izhodišče za načrtovanje razsvetljave so bila različna delovna območja v dvorani in želja po vključitvi dnevne svetlobe. V sprednjem delu so postavljeni CNC-stroji z zasloni, drugje se montirajo mehanski deli naprav. Svetlobni trak TECTON se z različnimi optikami uporablja za različne delovna opravila. Krmilnik osvetljenosti DIMLITE izravnava količino dnevne svetlobe, ki se spreminja čez dan. Senzorji "Look out" z linijo pogleda proti sprednjemu steklu zaznavajo količino naravne svetlobe. Če se z dnevno svetlobo ne doseže svetilnost, ki je bila določena v pripravljalnem obdobju, se svetilke zatemnijo na ustrezen nivo. Na ta način se poveča vidljivost in zagotovi minimalna energijska poraba: Prenova razsvetljave se amortizira v dobrih dveh letih.

Tehnika mora pomagati, ne oteževati

Če investitor prihaja s področja tehničnih znanosti, oblikovalka notranjih prostorov ima rada vznemirjenje, hotelir pa je izkušen praktik, potem nastane hotel, kot je Belvoir. Hotel, ki sledi obliki bližnjega ledenika, kar združuje z veličastnim pogledom na jezero Zürichsee.

Na tej osnovi je zasnovano tudi krmiljenje razsvetljave. Investitorjem in bodočim gostiteljem vedno znova spodleti v fazi načrtovanja v različnih vlogah: Pri testiranju gostov glede prijaznosti za uporabnike; pri lastnikih, ki jih zanimajo nižji stroški vzdrževanja, prihranek energije in enostavno vzdrževanje.

ZBOX je zaprt sistem, ki omogoča krmiljenje posameznih hotelskih sob in se prilagodljivo odziva na želje po spreminjanju. Večfunkcijska tipkala CIRCLE so tako enostavna, da je gostom takoj jasno, kako poteka upravljanje. S pritiskom na tipko izbere predhodno nastavljene svetlobne scene. Vodoravne zavese se centralno krmilijo z merilno glavo dnevne svetlobe, lahko pa se tudi ročno dvigajo in spuščajo. Ko soba še ni zasedena, se žaluzije samodejno spustijo in tako preprečujejo segrevanje sobe. Z vstavljanjem hotelske kartice se samodejno aktivira svetlobna scena „Welcome“. Za restavracijo je programirana jutranja, opoldanska in večerna svetlobna scena, katere svetlost se lahko povsem enostavno prilagodi z uporabniškim vmesnikom CIRIA, ki spominja na iPod. Z enega mesta se upravljajo sistemi krmiljenja razsvetljave, sistem zasilne razsvetljave in svetilke zasilne razsvetljave. Čim manj vmesnikov je prisotnih, toliko enostavneje in hitreje se lahko zažene sistem.

Razveseljiva učinkovitost

Za dodatno spodbudo geslu „Severno morje. Alternativa.“ je bila restavracija v mestu Kassel temeljito sanirana. Skupaj z notranjo opremo je bila v celoti prenovljena tudi razsvetljava.

Celotna restavracija se je preuredila na sistem LED, barvne temperature v prostoru za goste zdaj sledijo naravnemu vzorcu iz narave. Zagon krmiljenja razsvetljave je izvedlo servisno osebje podjetja Zumtobel, ki je prav tako seznanilo zaposlene z inovativnim konceptom razsvetljave in načinom upravljanja.

Jutro se v svetlobno tehničnem smislu začne z enostavnim zasukom centralnega stikala na ključ. Sistem je takoj na voljo za pripravo prave svetlobe z visoko osvetljenostjo. Za goste se dan začne s toplimi barvnimi temperaturami, ki spominjajo na vzhajanje sonca. Opoldne je restavracija zavita v razpršeno belo barvo dnevne svetlobe. Zvečer krmiljenje razsvetljave EMOTION poskrbi za svetlobo, kakršna nastane pri "pogrezanju" sonca v morje: Rdeči barvni odtenki vabijo goste, da v miru ponovno uživajo. Neodvisno od dnevnega časa skrbijo vgradne svetilke LED in svetlobni LED oboki za osvežujoče akcente. V proizvodnih področjih se ne spreminja barva svetlobe, temveč nivo svetilnosti splošne razsvetljave, ki se prilagaja posameznim dejavnostim. Prednosti LED tehnologije, med katere prištevamo manjše toplotne izgube in s tem povezane nižje stroške hlajenja za živila, krmiljenje razsvetljave LUXMATE EMOTION tako povezuje z najvišjo gostoljubnostjo. Zahvaljujoč sistemu EMOTION je izredna tudi udobnost upravljanja. Pri večernem zaklepanju s stikalom na ključ se restavracija potopi v rdečo svetlobo, ki ustreza celostni grafični podobi podjetja.

Prihodnost se začenja danes

Delovno mesto prihodnosti je na glavnem sedežu zavarovalnice Hannoverschen Lebensversicherung AG že postalo resničnost. Izredno visoko učinkovite zgradbe s trojno zasteklitvijo in fasadnimi elementi z visoko stopnjo toplotne izolacije pokrivajo svoje močno znižane potrebe po energiji z zemeljskimi sondami, toplotnimi črpalkami in toplovodnim omrežjem.

Stranka si je zaželela visoko učinkovito pisarniško zgradbo z maksimalno prilagodljivostjo, da bo v prihodnosti lahko kar najbolje izvajala pričakovano veliko število sprememb v prostorski razporeditvi. Stranka se je oglasila pri podjetju, ki omogoča zunanje krmiljenje razsvetljave, uporablja program Facility Manager ter izvaja vzdrževalna dela.

Vse svetilke in žaluzije v tridelnem kompleksu zgradb se krmilijo s sistemom krmiljenja razsvetljave LITENET, ki je osnovan na protokolu TCP/IP. Vse nastavitve ter spremembe v sistemu se lahko izvajajo iz centralnega mesta. V ta namen je sistem vgrajen v OPC-vizualizacijo za celotno zgradbo. Svetilke DALI s posameznim naslavljanjem se prilagodljivo odzivajo na spremembe.

Razpoložljiva dnevna svetloba se meri s centralno merilno glavo dnevne svetlobe. Lamelne zavese s funkcijo odklanjanja svetlobe, ki sledijo položaju sonca, se premikajo v ustrezen položaj. Nivo zatemnitve vseh posameznih svetilk, ki je potreben za konstanten nivo osvetlitve, se vsako minuto ponovno izračuna in nastavi. Poleg tega javljalniki prisotnosti zmanjšajo čase obratovanja svetilk v skladu s prisotnostjo zaposlenih. Zaposleni imajo možnost, da z brezžičnim daljinskim upravljalnikom prilagodijo svetlobno sceno svojim osebnim potrebam – povsem neodvisno od ožičenja v zgradbi.
